Work/Life Balance Tips from Productivity Consultant Amy Tokos
Do you carry items forward on your to-do list day after day? Do you sit down in the office to finish one task then find yourself quickly distracted by another? Do you struggle to set boundaries around your working time? This session about combating gaps in our productivity is for you. In this session, you will get tips, strategies and frameworks to help you become more productive. Productivity best practices will be covered which include time and space strategies along with a few tips on tackling paper, information and email.

Are you constantly multitasking? Do other people’s needs tend to fill up your day? A whole day can pass without a moment to just be. This session will be a chance to let go of your mental to-do list and feel rejuvenated. You will be introduced to short practices you can do during the workday that give you moments of peace, and have time for some intentional self-care. You are invited to bring something to do that brings you joy – a book, journal, walking shoes, etc.
Are your go-to volunteers the same ones that you’ve had for years? Does getting people to volunteer feel like pulling teeth? This group discussion will give opportunity to share volunteer success stories as well as time to talk through struggles of working with volunteers. Please bring any material that you have that relates to recognizing potential volunteer gifts, inviting people to volunteer, volunteer training, and how you thank your volunteers.
Only $50 for your lodging in a double-occupancy room, meals, snacks, and retreat leadership!
You can stay in a private room for $150 total.
