How do I pay?

• We offer a completely contact-less payment and check-in, so we ask that you prepay via PayPal or Venmo. If you’d rather pay by check, you can mail that in. Just let Dana know what you’d prefer when you make your reservation.  
   

How are you keeping my family safe?

• We will be thoroughly cleaning each room prior to your arrival with products on the CDC’s list of approved cleaners. Our kitchen team is following all restaurant guidelines including masks and gloves. All program materials (crafts, devotions, etc.) will be pre-assembled and left in your room before your arrival. Common areas of the Swanson Retreat Center will be cleaned multiple times per day.
   

Do I have to wear a mask?

• You’ll notice that all of our Guest Services team members will be wearing masks. We request that you would return the favor while interacting with our staff for everyone’s safety (i.e. at check-in). While you’re hiking, fishing, and generally enjoying our grounds, we don’t feel they’re necessary unless you’re within 6 feet of others—but you can make the best decision for your family.
   

Can I bring my pet?

• Pets are not allowed inside our facilities, so we are not able to accommodate pets during your stay with us.
   

​What about cancellations & refunds?

• Full refunds will be provided if health regulations change and we are forced to cancel your getaway. If anyone in your family experiences symptoms or is exposed to COVID-19 within two weeks of your arrival, Dana is happy to help you reschedule. 
   

Will WiFi be available?

• It’s up to your family how much you want to unplug. Free WiFi is available in and near all of our buildings on site. We recommend you download the trail map or take a paper map with you on your hikes, as WiFi and cell service aren't guaranteed in the woods. Click to download the trail map PDF here.
   

Are there any other taxes or fees added into my reservation?

• The Advent Family Getaway is a new family program we’re offering this year. Because we’re providing your family with a menu of activities while you’re here, this is considered a family retreat by our ministry and therefore not subject to additional taxes and fees. We hope you unplug and enjoy your time set apart, together!
