Give us one day, and we’ll give you one year! PLAN-IT is for everyone responsible for faith formation program planning, including pastors, Christian educators, youth ministers, DCEs, and volunteers. Come by yourself, bring a partner, or bring a small team! This is a guided planning and sharing experience for those responsible for ministry. Review essential ministry lenses, planning tools, and usable template. Participants design a well-balanced, one year framework, with an emphasis on self-care and building a leadership producing culture.

 

This PLAN-IT will be facilitated by Lyle Griner (National Peer Ministry Director), and assisted by Emily Dalen (Director of Faith Formation at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church – Omaha) and Katherine Albin (Manager of Retreat and Volunteer Programs at Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries).

 

Bring:

• Yourself and if you want, a small team

• A laptop or tablet

• The “sacred dates” you need to plan around such as church, community and your own family schedules! (don’t forget to plan your vacations!)

Cost

• $43 per church (most helpful and appreciated!)

• $23 per church (all my church can afford)
• $0 per church (budget presently frozen)
