Auction Information
Quilts in the past have auctioned for anywhere between $25 and $20,000. Lance Larsen, a professional auctioneer from Cordova, Neb., is volunteering his time to auction the quilts. Select quilts will be available through the Silent Auction. Bidding will open for the Silent Auction Friday, July 29 at 9 a.m. and close Saturday, July 30 at 1:30 p.m. Silent Auction items will be available for pick up after 3 p.m.
Live Auction bidding will start at 9:30 a.m. The Live Auction quilts will be displayed with numbered cards indicating the order in which they will be auctioned. Bidders can approximate when their favorite quilts will be up for auction. The cards also include information about the quilt donor and the size, type, and design of the quilt.
Although this is an outdoor event, pets are not allowed.
Visit often as quilts are being uploaded daily.
Lunch
This year our kitchen will be serving pulled pork sandwiches and a selection of favorite salads. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. and costs $8 for adults, $4 for kids (4-12), and free for children 3 and under. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available upon request. Concessions will be offered before and after lunch.
