be on hand to greet your group

serve your groups in any way that enables the groups goals
CJH has an ambitious vision statement - Gracious People, Sacred Places, Significant Experiences. This vision is lived out through our entire staff, but for guest groups it is made possible most visibly by our hosts. Hosts are hired because of their serving hearts and extraordinary attitudes. We are proud of our food services at Carol Joy Holling. Meals are served buffet-style in our dining hall at the Sjogren Center. The menus are created by our culinary team with the interest of our guest groups in mind. Breakfast entrees such as egg dishes, breakfast potatoes, sausage & bacon, and a variety of sweet pastries. Fruit, yogurt, and a cereal bar are available at every breakfast meal. At lunchtime, the buffet includes main entrees, such as a taco bar, BBQ pork sandwiches, turkey salad croissants with accompaniments, a salad bar, a variety of homemade soups, and baked goods. Dinner is all about comfort foods, which may include pot roast, turkey, ham, or meatloaf. Sides include potato dishes, steamed vegetables, a salad bar, and special desserts.
Three meals are included in all of our Swanson and Sjogren Retreat Center’s overnight packages. For day meetings and extended overnight stays, individual meals can be priced for you. We can also cater full meals or lunch boxes to you at different locations. You may also decide to request a hamburger cookout for your group at various locations on camp. Pricing for these services can be made by calling Dana at 402-944-2544.
Standard meal times are:
Breakfast - 7:30 a.m.
Lunch - 12 noon
Dinner - 6 p.m.

After you've chosen the facility and picked your dates, Dana will work with you to book your space. It's really easy. In fact, Dana will do all the work for you! You just need to sign the contract.
